Had GHOSTS ! The Paranormal Research Symposium was ghoulish success !! Everyone had a great time and the investigators and the observers had eye-popping experiences.

Dinner at the Sanitary was scarey !!! Carrie told stories about her experiences as a tour guide in Beaufort and at the Webb and Thomas revealed his investigation teams findings at the Webb.

The raffle was a huge success thanks to the determined and whimsical efforts of Kate and Mike from Port City Tours.

If you missed it this year be sure to plan to attend next year.

Welcome to the Webb Library HAPPENINGS page...
Summer has been filled with lots of activities at the Webb but we're looking forward to some fall events that have the staff and patrons ( and the resident ghost ) all a-twitter !!

There will be Tai Chi classes twice a week starting in September and a Memoir Writing Class taught by noted author Joan Carris that will begin when the class fills. Call the Webb @ 252-726-3012 for more info.

On Saturday September 12th at 11:am there will be a presentation by Roads Scholar, Jim Bunch:
"NC U-Boats; U-85, U-701 and U-352"
The NC Humanities Council is the sponsor of this program along with the Webb. We are also hoping to have a collection of vintage diving equipment on display.

On November 6&7 the Friends of the Webb will be sponsoring a Paranormal Research Symposium. Ten teams of paranormal investigators will be in Morehead City to team up with local citizens to conduct investigations and make presentations. Friday night the Friends of the Webb will host a dinner at the Train Depot with presentations of local ghost stories and creative 'ghostly' writing projects by Carteret County students. Mr. Rodney Kemp, story teller extraordinaire, will be hosting this fun evening.
Saturday the paranormal investigators will offer a wide range of topics that will be of interest to other investigators and the general public as well.

Check back at this web site for further information or call the Webb @252-726-3012...the staff will be happy to give you the latest up dates.
